Xavi was introduced to us by Julia. As a duo, Xavi and Julia performed and created music together before. Writing music for each other, improvising and sharing ideas.
What we love about Xavi’s compositions, is his ability to combine exciting rhythms with great lyricism. During one of our first brainstorms with Xavi for Mikrokosmos, he mentioned he wanted to bring his Spanish passion into this champter. We had a great time sculpting the piece together with Xavi.
